It is amazing what the correct camera setting (yeah, I finally looked in the manual) and sunlight will do for your photos. Despite having gotten some good action shots, I delete a ton of them because they are blurry. So I with new settings, I got a lot of running shots this week.
It is cooling off at night, but not enough to stop Maddie for getting in a few more splashes before winter comes.
Dirty puppy!
And sometimes Maddie stops.
And sometimes she even rests.

Maddy is like a little poem when you look at her fluid, fun movement. Great captures. I can't imagine how fast all of this was playing out.
Fabulous photos of Maddie - a joy to look at and great captures :D
Those photos of her are great! And I swear, every day I can see her getting bigger. We used to laugh about whether Kuster would grow longer or taller overnight. She is so darned cute!
Great action shots. Even with the correct settings and lots of sun, I'm still quite happy when the action shots turn out.
Black dogs are so hard to capture on camera, let alone when they're moving, so nicely done! She's gorgeous and looks like lots of fun. :)
I am really loving the photos of Maddie. A greyhound is so graceful and Maddie is obviously a happy girl.
Run Maddie Run!
Somehow watching Maddie grow up gives me a little taste of what Bettina must have been like as a puppy. I'm glad to be watching it from afar!
Those are great action shots and really do show how active she is!
So, what settings did you change to make such a difference?
Her bouncing ears are the best!
Jay, this won't sound very interesting :-), but I found a "sport" setting. Amazing how that works. :-)
Love the photos of all the dogs. I will venture a guess of 62.7lbs at first birthday:/
